Meet Our Team

AARON MOODY

FOUNDER/CEO

Building With Purpose

Aaron got an early introduction to residential carpentry as a youth, working alongside his father during summer breaks. He began in the trade full time in 1998 working as a framing carpenter, site supervisor, project manager; later he worked as a historic restoration carpenter in Charleston, SC.  He founded Aaron & Co. in 2016 in Charlottesville, as a trim installation and custom carpentry company. In 2020, Aaron moved the company into general contracting, with a particular focus on kitchen and bath renovations, and general remodeling. In 2024, Aaron again shifted the company’s focus, this time toward homebuilding, large-scale renovations, and additions.

Aaron enjoys developing and empowering others in the organization in order to create managed, organic growth, while much of his time is spent in client communication, system and process building, and responsibly scaling operations.

Outside of work, he cooks, travels frequently, and is constantly seeking new learning experiences.

MEET THE TEAM

The People Behind the Work

Great homes are built by great people. Meet the team that brings experience, craftsmanship and attention to detail to every Aaron & Company Builders project.

Tommy Tigert

Site Supervisor/Field Ops Coordinator

Tommy was hired in 2017, the company’s first employee, and worked as lead carpenter until 2021, performing primarily interior trim and custom carpentry. In early 2024, Tommy rejoined the company to take over field operations, as the company grew more and more into the general contracting space. Having spent more the 25 years in the carpentry field, he is among the top craftsmen in the area.

On the weekend, you might catch Tommy building something for himself, spending time with family, or working in the yard. A native of New Mexico, he also enjoys cooking Southwest dishes, and makes a mean pot of chili.

Logan Moody

Shop Operations/Field Support

In 2018, Logan began working for a local cabinet shop, assisting with fabrication, finishing, and field installations. When Aaron & Co. opened its millshop in early 2019, Logan came on board and continued to develop his skills. Since then, Logan has managed shop operations, ensuring on-time completion of shop orders for our clients, maintaining our  high quality control standards and performing shop maintenance as required. He is always ready to assist the carpenters in the field when needed, as well.

In his free time, Logan likes to camp and kayak, complete challenging hikes, and is an avid reader.

Parker Moody

Carpenter

Parker joined the Aaron & Co. team in January of 2024, after working retail for a short time, unsure if the construction field was the right path for him—he never looked back. A natural hand-on person, Parker immediately took to the craft. He prides himself on high-quality outcomes, and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish, while also taking responsibility for much of the mobilization and logistics, ensuring our resources are in place when needed.

On days off, you might see him the dropping in at the skate park, hiking, gaming online or experimenting in the kitchen.

Kaleb Gibson

Apprentice Carpenter

Kaleb grew up in Staunton, VA and graduated from Staunton High School. After spending a year at PVCC, he decided to pursue a career in carpentry/residential construction. This decision came, as he states, from a strong desire to work outside and build things he could be proud of. Kaleb joined Aaron & Co. in the summer of 2025, at 18, learning quickly and embracing the craft, demonstrating a commitment to our high quality standards, and a willingness to learn and improve everyday.

Outside of work, Kaleb enjoys skateboarding, tinkering with cars, and hiking the mountains of Virginia.

HOW WE WORK

Built on Craftsmanship. Grounded in Trust.

We believe the best projects come from strong relationships, clear communication and pride in the work. From the first conversation to the final detail, our team approaches every home with care, accountability and respect for the people who will live there.

That means listening closely, solving problems thoughtfully and never losing sight of the craftsmanship that turns a project into a home.
